The fellowship will run in 2023, from September 2023 to March 2024, and will provide a flexible framework to support the growth of extraordinary cultural leaders at a critical juncture in their careers. Because it is adaptive and self-guided, you must be extremely driven and intensely interested.

A Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship offers a training budget of up to £18,500, which can be used to pay the following expenses:
- Up to two round-trip economy flights from your home country to the United Kingdom to participate in fellowship activities.

Applicants for a Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship must meet the following requirements:
- At the end of the study time, they want to return to the nation from which they were chosen. They must have a degree comparable to at least an excellent UK second-class honours degree or similar professional training and/or experience.
- Have completed at least five years of employment (or higher as needed by Clore Leadership) by the end of 2022, or equivalent experience
- Meet the basic standards outlined in the main fellowships scheme.
- Not being British or having dual British citizenship
- Not be a current or former employee, or a relative of a current or former employee* of Her Majesty’s Government (including British embassies/high commissions, the Department for International Development, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, the Ministry of Defence, and the Home Office) (since July 2016).
* Note: Parents or step-parents, siblings or step-siblings, children or step-children, spouse, civil partner, or unmarried (where the pair has been in a relationship comparable to marriage or civil partnership for at least two years) are all considered immediate relatives.
Please keep in mind that candidates who have previously received financial assistance from an HMG-funded scholarship or fellowship are eligible to apply five years after the completion of their first HMG-funded award. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their professional growth from that time in certain circumstances.
Application Procedure:
As a part of Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship, each international fellow will undertake an individually tailored programme based in the UK which will include:
· Two residential leadership courses in September 2023 and March 2024
· Three day-long non-residential skills-based workshops
· A two-day ‘Urban Intensive ’ team project
· A 360° leadership profile
· A four – six week secondment in a UK based cultural organisation, (normally in an organisation or field very different to your usual workplace or practice) where you’ll be working on a ‘live’ project set by your host organisation

The Fellowship begins in September 2023, with fellows flying from their home country to the UK for the first fellowship residential in September 2023, returning to their home nation in early October.
Fellows will then return to the United Kingdom in January 2024 to complete the majority of their particular training and development courses. This will include workshops, individual secondments, mentorship, course and conference attendance, and the 2nd Fellowship residential course in March, which will round up the plan.
