West Bengal Centralised UG Admission 2025: A Centralised Online Admission System was launched for the first time in the academic year 2024-25 under the Higher Education Department of West Bengal to facilitate online admission in general degree colleges and some universities. Now the system has been introduced on a larger scale for the academic year 2025-26.

Through this portal, you can apply for admission to 460 Government and Government Aided General Degree Colleges and Higher Education Institutions (Government and Government Aided General Degree Colleges/HEIs) will come under this process. There are a total of 7271 courses on this portal. With one click, you can apply for admission to the institution, course and institution of your choice.

WBCAP College Admission Application Process 2025
Application website: You can go to the Centralized Admission Portal from the Bengal Higher Education Portal ( or the Higher Education Department portal ( https://wbsche.wb.gov.in ) or you can log in directly: ! All the important links are given at the end .
Applying to multiple courses: An applicant can apply to one or more institutions for a maximum of 25 programs.
Admission Process: Admission will be based on merit only. No physical counseling or document verification is required.
- There is no need to appear for counseling at the college or university. All admission related processes will be done online.
Every student will be able to track all the status from their own dashboard. After seat allotment, the admission fee can be submitted only online .

- Higher Secondary Marksheet Original and PDF Copy
- Birth certificate or secondary school admit card
- Aadhar card.
- Cast certificate.
- Photo and signature.
- Mobile and email ID.
- Bank Passbook (Self).

WBCAP Schedule 2025: Centralised Admission Schedule Table (Important Dates)
The admission process will be in two rounds, in the first round, general application will be made, then the merit list will be published and admission will be done! Then, the seats that remain vacant will be admitted through a mop up round or an additional round.
